I think this home is timeless

Have you seen this home?  I bet you have.  I saved the images PB (pre-blogging), so all I have
is the homeowner's name is Jocie.  I believe they are shopowners.  If you know please do tell.

(thanks, Brandi  probably Design Sponge  I thought so)

(and from another reader: Julie, I also have long adored these inspirational pictures from homeowner, Jocie Sinauer. She is the owner of Red Chair Antiques in New Hampshire. The following is her website: Red Chair Antiques)

Can we just talk about the picture above?  That light, the pitcher collection, the wonky candles, the French chairs, and the perfect gray-blue walls.  Oh, and the fireplace!

I love how much seating there is...and the variety of lighting.

Don't you think this home is beyond trends?  Yes, beachy and Frenchie and gray are "in" (I hate that word)...but I think you could look at this in 20 years and it wouldn't look dated.

I mean....love!!

put an antique rug down here and this bath could be from any era.

Just a little warm and lovely eye candy for you.  All the best, Julie

I hope you can dance like the man in the back right this weekend.  He is about my favorite thing in the world.

  2. This home is definitely timeless - the colours and furniture pieces would never date and it's so easy to add in fun accessories and colour if you want to change things up - I SO want to live there :)

  3. Gorgeous home! I love the table candles as well (I have a ton of wonky blue ones on my kitchen table as well and love them.) and the pitures on the mantle- The chandelier in that room is also beautiful. I adore those reading lights/sconces- have been looking for something like those that don't break the bank- would die for the Mouille version but I digress:) Also, love the settee- always love a settee! This is definitely a timelss beauty of a house.

  4. The pictures may fool the eye but there very first pictures seem to show wonderful proportions. I think it would feel good empty. But I particularly like the dining table out in the "big room." I'd prefer eating the best room rather than a dining room.
